The main focus of our activities during 2017-2018 was to raise sufficient funds to purchase the Old Orchard- an area of neglected land, about 9acres, adjacent to Broomhill Park. We had an agreement with the owners of this land to complete this purchase by May 1st 2018. Funds were raised through donations and grants. Other activities were our monthly task days and a FunDay in June 2017.
